Mission and purpose

For more than 60 years, Self-Help for the Elderly has been there for our parents and grandparents, making sure they have a hot meal on the table, a friendly face to check in on them, and a community where they feel they belong. Every time you choose to help—by giving, volunteering, or simply sharing our story—you’re helping an older neighbor stay nourished, safe, and less alone, and reminding their family that someone is looking out for the people they love.
