Financial Transparency

Why Transparency Matters

At Give.Gives, financial transparency is a core operating principle.

We believe people are more likely to trust a system when they can understand where money goes, who receives value, and how each transaction creates impact. That is why transparency is built into the structure of the platform rather than treated as a secondary message.

Our Current Platform Fee

Our current platform operating fee is fixed at 12% of each transaction, before tax.

This fee supports the infrastructure required to operate Give.Gives, including platform operations, product development, transaction support, and the broader systems that keep the network functioning.

How The Model Works

Every qualifying transaction is divided into two parts:

Give.Gives processes platform transactions through Stripe and handles platform-side payment operations directly. Platform-side tax handling and reporting are managed by Give.Gives for its own operations, while each partner remains responsible for its own separate tax and reporting obligations under applicable law.

Example

If a transaction is $100.00 before tax:

Visual Example

$100.00 transaction (before tax)

|-- $12.00 Give.Gives platform operating fee
|
|-- $88.00 Remaining amount
    |-- Brand allocation
    |-- Charitable allocation

What We Mean By Transparency

For us, transparency means:

Transparency does not mean every transaction must be explained in legal or accounting language. It means the logic should be visible, stable, and understandable.

Our Commitment

Give.Gives is designed so that brands, venues, donors, buyers, and nonprofit partners can participate in a system with clearer financial logic than traditional opaque models.

We want partners to be able to say, in plain language, how the structure works:

Give.Gives currently takes a fixed 12% operating fee before tax, and the rest is allocated according to the active platform sharing model.

That clarity is part of the product, not just part of the messaging.
